Over the past several months, we have made lots of changes and improvements to our cleaning processes. We have also shifted the focus of our business more toward one-time cleanings, like real estate cleaning, move in move out cleaning, seasonal or Spring cleaning, and post-construction clean-up.
One of our new cleaning processes involves using a three-color rag system. Each color rag is used with a specific cleaning product. For example, yellow is used with Tub & Tile, blue is used with Clear Power Glass Cleaner, and green is used with Tough and Tender all-purpose cleaner. We also use chamois to polish furniture, on occasion.
We continue to use nothing disposable in our cleaning process! All our rags, mops and dusters are microfiber cloth and are washed between each cleaning job.
Another new process we've implemented is our 64-Point Quality Inspection Checklist!
Each employee checks off the tasks that they have completed, then a different employee checks to make sure that the work was done to our high quality standards. Even I, the house cleaning manager, have someone check my work! This make sure that our level of quality is consistent and satisfactory to the customer.
We devote two days a week to regularly scheduled house cleaning; weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cleanings. The other three days are devoted to our other services such as real estate cleaning to prepare for Open House, move in move out cleanings, Spring cleaning and post-construction clean-up.
